DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME BEYOND THE SUN

 The first thermonuclear war was not in vain for the Earth. Climate change, resource depletion, and growing poverty and crime have put humanity on the brink of extinction. To survive, humans must learn new technologies and leave the earth in search of habitable planets.

 Beyond The Sun is a science fiction strategy in which participants lead various factions involved in the technology race and the colonization of new star systems. There is no direct confrontation in the game. Each faction will contribute to the bright future of humanity.

BEYOND THE SUN THERE IS ALSO COMPETITION

 By selecting one of the four factions, the player receives her tablet. Technological and space races will take place in two different fields. In the center of the table is a tree of technology, and next to it - the field of space expansion, where maps of planets and maps of achievements are laid out.

 There are no clear number of rounds in the game. The party will continue until certain achievements are made. Winning points bring mastered technologies, controlled and colonized planets, as well as achievements.

 Participants take turns. In his turn, the player chooses one of the available actions, marks it with a chip and resorted to execution. At the start, players have four actions:

• study of first level technology
• study of second level technology
• shipbuilding and moving starships
• obtaining resources

TREE OF TECHNOLOGIES AND SPACE FLIGHTS

 One of the main features of the game is the innovative technology tree. On the left are first-level technology maps. Closed event maps are placed in the centers of unexplored technologies.

 To learn the second level technology, you will need the first technology, etc. The tree is not straight. Technologies are bizarrely branching, offering various combinations of further development.

 Mastering technologies often brings a one-time bonus and additional action. As you move to the next level, the event map flips over and its effect is applied. Events give benefits to all or an active player. After that, the player selects a technology map and lays it out in the vacated space.

 You have 2 movement points that can be shared between ships. Each ship has its own indicators of military power. The player with the highest score takes control of the planet. Planets give one-time bonuses and increase production. So be prepared to push your elbows on the expansion field.

 To colonize the planet, you must meet certain conditions. To begin with, you need to control the planet. Sufficient military force is also required for colonization. Finally, you need to apply the appropriate action of the technology map, spending the necessary resources. Players take away the card, receive a colonization bonus and victory points. A new planet is laid out in place of the map.

 After performing the action, the player enters the production phase and chooses one of three options. You can increase the population, produce ore or exchange resources for others. What resources will be needed for your strategy?

 Next, the player checks for achievements and the move goes to the next participant. After completing the achievements, the last round begins, followed by the counting of points. The faction that has gained the maximum number becomes the undisputed leader in space.
