DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME THE LORD OF THE RINGS: JOURNEYS IN MIDDLE-EARTH

 Welcome to the wonderful world of Middle-earth, created by John Tolkien, where your guide will be a free mobile application for iOS and Android. High technology enlivens magical legends and transports us to one of the most amazing fantasy universes. The players will have a cooperative adventure, during which they will be able to create their own legend!

 Participants act as heroes of the Free Peoples of Middle-earth. Darkness is coming and you will have to test your strength and wisdom in fighting it many times. After all, the "Arnor's Bones" campaign includes 14 adventures.

 6 heroes are available to players - Aragorn, Legolas, Beravor, Bilbo, Elena and Gimli. Each is represented by a corresponding map and figure of the character. Participants also receive a role card that demonstrates one of the Brotherhood's strengths. And the player can change his role from trip to trip, adding to the deck of skills the appropriate cards.

 Yes, in one adventure you will be able to be a Leader who inspires the team to new feats, and then become a Pathfinder to lead his comrades on secret paths. The hunter attacks the enemies that stand in your way. The agile robber easily avoids the tenacious paws of the enemy. The team also has a musician whose songs lift the fighting spirit and a powerful guard.

 In front of you the boundless expanses of Middle-earth break away. A separate type of map generated by the program is provided for adventures and battles. Thanks to special tiles, an unlimited number of cards is available to players.

GAME PROCESS

 Players will find themselves in an orc camp, fight the forces of evil in the throne room and visit other amazing places. To make the battlefield unique, you can add tokens of bushes, bonfires and other objects. As a result, obstacles arise on the battlefields, and the battle takes place according to new rules.

 Every second the world continues to expand. The application sets new goals, the heroes travel through the Middle Earth, discover new tiles, meet different characters and enter into battle with enemies.

 The heroes have the basic equipment and a deck of skill cards. The latter embodies the knowledge of the characters. Knowledge can be divided into innate abilities and acquired skills.

 The game has two ways to use cards. At the end of the round, you can restore the played card to take advantage of its effect in the future. If the card has a success badge, you can place it at the top of the skill deck to use for future tests.

 The results of the adventure are greatly influenced by tests of the various qualities of the heroes - strength, spiritual strength, wisdom, intelligence and agility. To test, the player does not roll the dice, but lays out the top cards of the deck. If there are enough symbols of success on them, the hero is tested. Whatever the outcome of the test, it will in any case move history forward and affect the fate of the whole of Middle-earth.

 On the maps we also see clasps in the form of an ivy leaf for the cloaks given to the heroes by Lady Galadriel. Such cloaks hid from enemies and maintained morale. Ivy is a destiny that can be converted into success with tokens of inspiration.

 In the shadow phase, enemies and forces are activated, making it difficult for the heroes to move forward. Opponents are represented by beautiful miniatures and controlled by the application. Different types of enemies are waiting for you, from orcs to trolls, who have their own manner of fighting and hunting. Enemy attacks inflict wounds and can instill fear in the hearts of heroes.

 At the end of the adventure, the heroes set up camp to relax, regain strength, improve equipment and performance. As we move forward, not only the campaign but also the heroes develop. Subjects change and increase abilities, and experience gives role skills. Interestingly, the characters also acquire collective knowledge.

 However, the threats are constantly growing, and new events are increasingly threatening the heroes with death. The enemy's attack was repulsed, but there is no time to rest. We need to move forward, because the fate of Middle-earth is on horseback!
