DESCRIPTION OF BOARD GAME STAR WARS: REBELION

 Never before has the immersion in the events of the Galactic Civil War been so deep. Star Wars: Rebellion is an asymmetric strategy with many levels. Favorite heroes, familiar planets and many cool units are waiting for you.

 Players can side with the mighty Empire or lead the ranks of unarmed members of the Alliance. Each side has its own ways of winning. Choose who you will fight for and determine the style of your game.

EMPIRE

 

 Under your control are legions of imperial stormtroopers, a swarm of fighters, star destroyers and even such a monstrous structure as the Death Star. To rely on the Galaxy and dictate to everyone the will of the Empire, you rely on fear, strength and great military power. To win, it is enough to destroy inexperienced rebels. To do this, find the enemy base hidden on one of the planets and eliminate it. In pursuit of your goal, you will be able to enslave entire worlds or, if you wish, destroy them.

RESISTANCE

You are a commander who commands inexperienced soldiers, T-47 aircraft, corvettes and fighter squadrons. However, your forces are far inferior to the imperial. If you look at this situation from the standpoint of brute force, you can say that from the very beginning you are in danger of imminent defeat. Therefore, your strategy should be more ingenious and thoughtful. You have to unite the whole planets and make them take the side of the Resistance. Also sabotage imperial buildings and lure valuable intellectual resources to your side. By playing goal cards, you will improve your reputation. The longer you stay alive, and the better your reputation, the better your chances of uplifting the galaxy and winning this war.

ONCE UPON A TIME, IN A DISTANT CARDBOARD BOX 

 The set includes more than 150 figures and 2 playing fields, which represent the 32 most famous systems of the galaxy "Star Wars". "Rebellion" preserves the scale of the original saga. However, despite all its epicness, the uprising turned out to be very personal, cinematic and heroic at the same time. The outcome of the battle depends not only on military power, but also on individual heroes of the saga.

 Given that the flames of the Civil War are rapidly engulfing the entire galaxy, each of these characters is of great importance. Thanks to them, you will be able to perform various secret missions and relive the most exciting moments of the classic trilogy. For example, you can send Luke to Dagoba to learn Jedi skills. Or, turning into Darth Vader, set up a subtle trap for Khan Solo and freeze him in carbonite!

BEFORE THE GAME

 Participants receive a personal playing field and starting components. A track token and an Alliance reputation token are posted on the track. They will move in different directions. If these two tokens meet, the Alliance's forces will win.

HOW TO PLAY

 During the game you need to extract resources, build a variety of equipment, fight the enemy on earth and in space, as well as capture the planets. You can improve the characters and hire new ones.

 At the beginning of the round, players send their leader to one of the planets or entrust him with a responsible mission using the target card. As soon as the leader reaches the planet, his troops begin to gather there.

 If the forces of two warring parties are found on one planet, the players draw tactical cards and enter the battle. The battle can take place on the ground and in the air. Each team corresponds to a certain number of cubes. Using tactical maps, you can draw results. The winner captures the planet and receives a token of loyalty. At the end of the round, the controlled planets bring the resources used for combat units.

When choosing a candidate for a secret task, you should pay attention to parameters such as diplomacy, intelligence and logistics. If the hero does not have a sufficient level of necessary skills, he can find a partner. And here the general level of the chosen characters has to correspond to requirements of a card.
