DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME RISING SUN

 A mighty shadow covered Fujiyama, plunging Edo into darkness. The gods are dissatisfied with the current emperor of Japan and the general decline. To restore the former honor and revive the traditions of the great country, they create five sacred houses. Each of them will pave their way to this great goal according to the will of the gods. And when the snow, like a white kimono, covers the ground, will be chosen worthy.

 Players will have to become shoguns and lead one of the five divine houses: Lotus, Turtle, Carp, Grandma and Bonsai. Each house has its own unique ability, gifted by the gods: you can soar over all of Japan like a grandmother, build fortresses on the backs of large turtles and do other amazing things inaccessible to ordinary mortals.

BORDERLESS LANDS

 The playing field is a map of Japan divided into 8 regions. Each region has a reward that the player receives for collecting resources. Wars will break out between the regions during the game. Tracks of honor, victory points and politics, as well as sanctuaries and many other amazing things that reflect the current state of the houses open up to the eyes of the players.

 Each player receives a screen of his house, 4 tokens of fortresses and a union badge. All houses have initial indicators of honor that determine the order of the course. Each house corresponds to 10 miniatures, which are divided into three types: daimyo, Shinto and beads.

 Busi are infantry deprived of any special properties. Shinto are the warriors themselves, but unlike Busi, they can worship the gods. In fact, they are fighting monks. Daimyo are military leaders. Have immunity to captivity, betrayal and special effects. In addition to beads, synta and daimyo, the gods sent monsters to Japan. They can join the homes of players and have special properties.

ON THE ROAD SINCE THE CITY

 The goal of each shogun is to score maximum points before winter. There are several ways to earn points. These are glorious victories in battles, and the accumulation of resources, drawing cards of virtues, etc. In the course of the game, participants will form and break unions, strengthen their homes, do various political actions, deploy troops and worship the gods.

 To gain the favor of the gods, you have 4 seasons (rounds): spring, summer, autumn, winter. Each round consists of a preparation phase, a tea ceremony, politics, war and the end of the season.

 In the preparation phase, players prepare the regions for war according to the seasons, lay out maps of the seasons, make a profit depending on the current season and take money for prisoners. The tea ceremony is a phase of negotiations. Players make new alliances, break old ones and apply their consequences. It should be noted that the game is extremely beautiful and thought out to the smallest detail. Thus, when forming alliances, union tokens form the symbol of "Yin-Yang".

 In the political phase, players give political orders that affect homes and troops. Shoguns can place and move figurines on the field, buy maps of the seasons, receive coins, ronin tokens and lure enemy troops to their side.

 After that, the gods endow those who sent Shinto to them for worship. You need to be lucky enough to see the shining face of the sun goddess Amaterasu or the fierce eyes of the war god Hatiman, and reverently accept the divine gifts. The shoguns are protected by seven amazing deities.

 During the war phase, houses are fighting for power over the regions. The player with the highest strength wins. Interestingly, an experienced military leader is even able to use defeat to his advantage. In order not to surrender, not to cover yourself and your descendants with shame, you can make a seppuku. Sometimes it is enough to take one hostage to stop the rivers of blood. If you are close to defeat, the mercenaries (ronin) will help you win. At the end of the battle, all the soldiers of the losing side die. Poems are composed in honor of the fallen, which bring their author not only recognition, but also quite earthly benefits. The losers pay reparations at home.

 White snow covers the battlefields, forever hiding the faces of fallen soldiers, legends of which will be passed from mouth to mouth… The confrontation of the divine houses ends and the counting of points begins. Shoguns receive points for winter reinforcements, tokens of warring regions, as well as for the number of unique tokens. The player with the most points becomes God's chosen one and leads his country to prosperity.
