DESCRIPTION OF THE EXPANSION ELDRITCH HORROR: MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS

 Far beyond the borders of the civilized world, where eternal ice hides traces of any life, dark jagged peaks rise, cutting the sky like the bones of ancient gods. An expedition from Miskatonic University  sets off into the heart of the icy continent to find out what happened to their predecessors. Why didn't the scientists get in touch, and under what circumstances did their entire group die? Together with the new researchers, you will definitely find something among the snowy peaks. At least some answer. After all, before the appearance of man, others ruled here - incomprehensible elders, and now their sleep is disturbed.

HAS THE ICE CRUSHED INSIDE THE BOX?

 Now we have a large map to explore - a snowy Antarctica full of ancient secrets. Expand the additional field on the table, which will open access to new encounters and achievements. The eight new explorers are very serious, because together with them in this box they put two Ancients - an unexpected neighborhood for survival!

 This substantial addition contains a variety of useful treasures for the board game: lore cards, new artifacts, spells, assets, and more. All of this will help to implement new mechanics in the game "Eldritch  Horror", your researchers will learn what superhuman hunger or hypothermia is, and will also be able to gain progress by solving tasks together.

 The story of the expedition comes to life through adventures spanning three consecutive chapters. Each adventure takes you deeper into terrifying discoveries, forces you to make difficult decisions, and ultimately brings you closer to the heart of the mystery. Of course, there’s no end to the rewards: if you do it right, you’ll get it! Sometimes you’ll have to focus and choose between reason and blind instincts, as we usually do in Lovecraftian fiction.
