DESCRIPTION OF EXPANSION STAR REALMS: COSMIC GAMBIT SET

 The gambits in this set function differently than the original gambits, including a stealth game. Some actions/bonuses trigger when the gambit is revealed, most have an additional function when the card is destroyed.

 Gambits are given to players of the valleys at the beginning of the game. You can choose the number of Gambit cards each player will receive, or you can give some players fewer Gambit cards as a handicap. Surplus (unclaimed) gambit cards are placed face down in a stack. Secret Outpost is stored separately and is not mixed with gambit cards or the trading deck.

 Players keep their gambit cards in front of them until they decide to reveal them. Gambit cards never end up in the trading deck, your hand, or your personal deck. They have silver frames to make it easier to keep them separate from other cards. Players can open gambits at the start or during the main phase.
