DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME CAPITAL LUX 2: GENERATIONS 

 The game takes place in the futuristic world of Lux. Four families (clergy, nobility, scientists and rebels) lived side by side, but with new generations come new challenges. The essence of the game is a constant choice: draw family members to the home district to receive victory points or send them to perform unique actions.

 The game lasts three rounds. At the end of the round, you are not allowed to have a greater total value of any home district color than the total value of the Capital. Exceeding the limit leads to the loss of these cards. At the end of the third round, all remaining cards in the home zone yield points.

GAME PROCESS

• Draft . Each player is dealt six cards at the start of each round. Next, everyone simultaneously chooses two cards from their hands and puts them on the table face down, the others pass to the left. Then, from the newly dealt hand of four cards, everyone again picks two to place face down in front of them, and then passes the last two cards, which automatically become part of the next player's hand. Yes, the players will have 6 cards in their hands.
• Player's move . During his turn, a player plays one of his cards to either the home district or the Capital under the corresponding color. Cards in the home base will bring software at the end of the game, and cards in the capital will activate various effects.
• Solution . The round ends when one of the players has no cards left in their hand and everyone else has made their last move. After that, the card limit for each player is checked: if the total number of cards of a certain color in his district exceeds the sum of cards of the same color in the diferent district, then the metropolitan police detains this player, forcing him to discard all cards of that color from his district. After that, the player with the highest total remaining in each suit receives a bonus - the highest card of the Capital resident of that suit. If the players are tied, then they receive gold tokens worth 2 points, and the highest card from the district goes into the fight.
• Final calculation . At the end of three rounds, players add up the value of all "home" cards, collected bonus cards and gold tokens.

 Each district in the capital brings unique opportunities:

• The blue zone allows you to change the number of cards in districts,
• The pink zone allows you to move or remove cards with small numbers from districts,
• The yellow zone is associated with gold,
• The green zone allows you to receive character cards.

If you play it too safe, you may not have enough victory points at the end of the game.
