DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME DOMINANT SPECIES

 90,000 BC - The Great Ice Age is approaching. A new titanic battle for global supremacy will inevitably take place between different species of living beings. This board game recreates a historical episode when all living things tried to adapt to a gradually changing planet.

Each player controls one of six main classes of animals - mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, arachnids and insects. Everyone starts in a more or less equal position with each other. But this will not last long, because the strongest survives.

ICE AGE

 Dominant Species is played on a hexagonal field, which is our planet before the ice age. The ice cover is symbolized by tundra tiles. Placing their chips in the sphere of orders, the players then take action. During the game, they expose and move the cubes of individuals in the field. Dominance is marked by cones. Disks of elements such as grass, larvae, meat, seeds, sun and water are used as resources. At the end of the game, the winner is the one who has more winning points.

GAME PROCESS

 The game consists of rounds, each round is divided into phases of planning, execution and reset. In the planning phase, players take turns placing their chips in the sphere of orders. Chips are placed on unoccupied cells with "eyes". In the execution phase, the chips are removed and played from top to bottom and from left to right. In the reset phase, the area of orders is cleared, some individuals die, and some receive victory points thanks to the survival map. The game continues until the Ice Age card opens.

COMPLETION OF THE GAME

 When the dominant view opens the Ice Age dominance map, the game ends. Participants complete the round to the end, and then the counting of points begins. Players go through all the hexes and get points for the numerical superiority of their individuals. The winner is the player who scores the most points.
