DESCRIPTION OF THE BRASS BOARD GAME: LANCASHIRE

 The end of the eighteenth century. Great Britain was engulfed in the Industrial Revolution. Manual labor is quickly replaced by machine. The development of society is becoming an industrial stage. Due to the advent of the steam engine, steam-powered machines and mechanisms are becoming more widespread. Industrial facilities are concentrated in Lancashire and Yorkshire. The incredible growth of industry leads to the fact that in the middle of the XIX century the British Empire received the title of "workshop of the world".

 This game invites you to become an active participant in the industrial revolution that engulfed the Foggy Albion at the turn of the 18th-19th centuries. The first version of the game appeared back in 2007. Eleven years later, the long-awaited and revised reprint was published. 

 In the new edition there is an opportunity to play together. On the back of the playing field of this mode there is a special fan card. At the start, the kings of the industrial revolution receive £ 30, 8 cards, as well as tokens of the character, businesses and messages of the chosen color. The latter differ in specialization and level of technology. Appropriate cells are provided on the tablets of players of such tokens. The playing field surrounds the track, with which participants will record their income and winning points.

 Due to the rapid growth of technology, the era of canals in the game is changing the era of railways. Thus, the party includes two stages. Epochs consist of rounds. When the cards in the hands and in the deck are over, the era is over. In his turn, the participant must reset the card twice and use one of the available actions:

• Build a business by paying the specified price and spending the appropriate amount of coal and / or iron.
• Build a canal or railway based on the current day. The railway line requires coal and significant investments.
• Carry out modernization. The enterprise with the lowest level leaves the tablet, freeing up space for more progressive buildings.
• Sell factory-made textiles and increase your income. Factory tokens are turned over. This action can also be facilitated by the actions of other participants. If the company token has not been inverted, it does not bring winning points.
• Get a loan. When a player receives £ 10, 20 or 30 from the bank, his income is reduced by 1, 2 or 3 levels respectively.

 At the end of the turn you need to top up 8 cards. When the round ends, the bank gives the players the amount depending on the income level. The participant who spent the least money in the previous round goes first in the next round. When the era is over, inverted tokens and built messages bring winning points. At the end of the game 10 £ give 1 software.
