DESCRIPTION OF BOARD GAME SABOTEUR

 What can a dwarf do for gold? Naturally, for everything! Therefore, even in the most friendly and sincere company of dwarves-gold diggers, strange cases of vandalism can occur: sometimes a cart wheel will be lost, then a lantern will break, then an almost new pickaxe will break, and even a collapse in the tunnel will occur. At first, no one would have a clue of suspecting one of their own until the vandalism happens again.

PREPARATION FOR THE GAME

 Before the game, players should select character cards based on how many people are participating, then shuffle the character deck and choose a hero without looking. Now two camps have formed: decent gnomes and pest gnomes. The task of the first is to build a tunnel that will lead from the entrance to the dungeon to the cave with gold. The task of the others is to prevent the first ones from reaching the goal with all their might.

GAME PROCESS

 At the beginning of the game, the players shuffle the mine cards and place them in a row at a distance of seven cards from the general deck, then take a certain number of tunnel and action cards (depending on the number of players) in their hand and the youngest player goes first. Only one card can be played per turn: either tunnels or actions. Tunnel maps should be laid out vertically and in such a way that the dug passages have a logical continuation. With the help of action cards, you can block and "heal" participants, arrange a mine collapse and check the cave for gold.

END OF THE GAME

 The Saboteur board game ends in two cases: when the dwarves reach the gold mine or when the deck of cards runs out and no more actions can be taken. In the first case, the team of gnomes wins, in the second - the team of pests. This is where the fun begins, because regardless of who won, the division of gold begins! From the deck of cards with gold, as many cards as the number of players participated in the game are taken. The player who reached the tunnel or made the last successful move takes cards with gold and chooses, in his opinion, the most profitable. Now the gold is passed to the next member of the team sitting counter-clockwise, he chooses the card he likes and passes the deck on. That is why it is important who will put the last card that will lead the team to gold or, conversely, lead the opposing team to a loss.

WHO IS THE GAME FOR?

 For the duration of such a game, it is better to leave all personal or friendly relations and not be offended if a loved one suddenly blocks your gnome, calling him a pest. Do not think that he suspects you, rather, he is a saboteur himself, and everyone knows that the best defense is an attack.
