DESCRIPTION OF BOARD GAME CODENAMES: MARVEL
Codenames: Marvel combines the hit social game Codenames series with the Marvel Universe , including Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers, Doctor Strange, and more. The opposing teams, SHIELD and Hydra, compete to determine who is who. You have to find all your field agents among 25 code cards in a 5x5 grid.
GAME PROCESS
In Code Names: Marvel, two teams - SHIELD and Hydra in this case - compete to be the first to correctly guess all of their field agents (identified by word or picture). These field agents hide in plain sight in a 5x5 grid that includes the other team's agents, neutral words, and an assassin who will make you lose the game immediately if you hit him. One person on each team is a spy, and only those two know which agents belong to each team. Spymasters take turns giving one-word clues that can help their teammates identify multiple agents on the board. Their teammates try to guess the agents of the correct color while avoiding those from the opposing team - and everyone wants to avoid the killer.
