DESCRIPTION OF BOARD GAME SCHOTTEN TOTTEN 

 Redesigned edition of one of the most popular games by the doctor of mathematics Rainer Knitsia, who created more than 600 boards. Schotten Totten game was developed back in 1999. In 2000, the famous remake - "Battle Line" was released.

 In 2000, the game "Schotten Totten" was nominated for the "International Gamers Awards" in the category "Best Duel Strategy", and in 2005 - the winner of the "Fairplay À la carte" competition. In 2004, tactics cards were added to the game. In 2016, the "IELLO" company released an updated edition.

BATTLE OF THE SCOTTISH CLANS

 The board game "Schotten Totten" is a fast dueling strategy about the confrontation of Scottish clans. Players are invited to fight for boundary stones between possessions. To win the game, you need to control 5 of any stones or 3 adjacent ones.

 Before the start of the game, 9 stone tiles are laid out in a row between the players. Players shuffle their clan decks and draw 6 cards from them into their hand. Each clan card is a fighter of one of six colors with a power value from 1 to 9.

RUN OF THE GAME

 Opponents take turns. During his turn, the player chooses a card from his hand and places it face down next to the stone on his side. A maximum of 3 cards can lie on one side of the stone.

 If there are 3 cards on each side next to a stone, the player can grab that stone. Also, a player can try to capture a stone near which the opponent has not yet played 3 cards, if he can prove the advantage of his combination, no matter what cards the opponent plays.

 After laying out a card from his hand, the player takes a new card from his deck and passes the turn to the opponent.

CAPTURE OF THE STONE

 To capture a stone, a player's card combination must be stronger than the opponent's card combination.

 Strength of combinations (from strongest to weakest):

• One-color row. Three cards of the same color with a continuous sequence of strength values.
• Three. Three cards with the same power value.
• Color. Three cards of the same suit.
• Number. Three cards of any suit with a continuous sequence of strength values.
• Sum. Three any cards.

 If the player captures 5 of any stones or 3 adjacent stones, he wins.

TACTIC CARDS

 If you want to make the game more strategic, you can play with tactics cards. When a player draws a new card, they can draw a card from the clan or tactic deck. Each strategy card has a special effect and belongs to one of three categories:

• Elite fighters. Allows you to choose a color and/or strength value.
• Combat modes. Sum of card values instead of combinations or 4 cards on both sides of the stone.
• Turn out Allows you to take new cards from decks, move cards to other stones, discard opponent's tactics cards or drag clan cards to your side.
