DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME KALAHA

 The game Kalach is really very interesting, and the history of its creation lies in the depths of centuries. This is one of the first board games of mankind. It is said that Kalaha originated in 550 BC on the African continent, namely in the Kalahara desert. Meeting in the desert, local caravanners spent their leisure time playing this game. Agree that only the best games can live up to our time. Kalaha is undoubtedly one of them.

PREPARATION FOR THE GAME

 There are holes on the playing field. Six holes in a row on one side and six on the other. One row of holes is for one player, the second row is for the opponent's holes. Each player has one large hole to the right of his row, the Kalach. Before the start of the game, we fill the holes with pebbles - 4 in each hole (except Kalakh). Now everything is ready to play.

GOAL OF THE GAME

 The one who collects more stones in his Kalach will win the game. And now we can start playing.

FLOW OF THE GAME

 The first player takes all the pebbles from any of his holes and arranges them counter-clockwise in each subsequent hole (clearly one at a time), including the large hole — Kalach. If as a result of the move, the last stone fell into the Kalah, the player moves again. If not, the turn goes to the opponent. If, after a player has lowered a stone into his Kalach, he has stones left in his hand, he continues to lay them out counter-clockwise, but already on the opponent's holes (except for his Kalach).

That is, we scatter the stones in a circle. Sometimes there are so many stones in a hole that they are enough to fill one's holes, one's Kalach, one's opponent's holes, and some more of one's own holes.

THINK YOUR MOVES

 Count your and other people's stones in the holes. Think about how your opponent might go. At first glance, it seems that you should not fill the opponent's holes with stones, but on the other hand, you will change the number of stones in his holes and can break his plans. Indeed, there is no limit to the strategies in Kalakh.

ONE MORE IMPORTANT RULE

 If, as a result of a player's move, his last stone filled his own empty hole, and there were stones in his opponent's hole (opposite), then all those stones are immediately sent to the player's just-moved Stool.

END OF THE GAME

 The game ends when one row of holes runs out of stones. After that, the stones in Kalakh are counted. As we have already written, the one with more stones will win.
