 And this version of Azul is designed specifically for two. Let's imagine: what would you do if you were a talented master of laying tiles and mosaics, and someone, equally ambitious, wanted to take all the laurels from you? You need to prove to him that there is only one master here - and it's not him! You are tasked with decorating the dome of the palace of King Manuel I in Sintra, and you will cope with it as best as possible, defeating this arrogant upstart!

 Each of you will try to create the most beautiful and sophisticated pattern on your playing field. It would seem that there is nothing complicated about it? Take the tiles and glue them on your wall. But… Try to keep track of what your opponent is taking and anticipate his moves! The wrong choice can cost you victory.

HOW TO PLAY

 The rules of Azul: Duel are quite simple, like in the rest of the Azul games we know, but does that mean that the game is easy? Not at all! Learn to see your opponent through and through to thwart his well-thought-out strategy and not break your own! In the center of the table are factories - round tablets from which you will take tiles for decoration. Each factory is divided into two zones: the sun and the moon. You have to take turns performing actions - in particular, take the tiles you like from the factories and place them on the plate of your dome.

 You can take tiles of the same color from the sun of any one factory, or target all available factories and take away everything lying in the moon zone. You can also take a face-up joker tile, which will definitely help you complete a row, or place a player token to take a plate from the scoring board.

 The resulting tiles will jump onto your tablet - try to create the coolest pattern to get as many points and personal royal favor for it! As you complete a row of the dome, you will constantly count points - so important for your victory! At the end of the fifth round, you will also add to them all the points earned for the tasks on the additional points tokens. So don't waste time, but lead this battle at full strength from the first round: you need to not only think about your moves, but also constantly analyze your opponent's actions to prevent him from getting profitable tiles.
