DESCRIPTION OF BOARD GAME SPLENDOR

 In the board game Splendor, players take on the role of wealthy Renaissance merchants. Players have to buy precious stones at all stages of their development, from mined mines to cut jewelry.

PREPARATION FOR THE GAME

 Separately from each other, shuffle the three gem development decks. From each deck, open four cards in a row. In this way, you will get 3 rows of 4 cards. Above the cards, open the cards of nobles. Randomly select and reveal as many noble cards as there are players at the table + 1 card. Sort the tokens with jewels into stacks and place them on the table in any convenient place.

GAME PROCESS

 Let's start collecting precious stones. Believe me, it is very interesting. During his turn, the player can do one of three actions:

• Take three (different) jewel tokens (except gold) from the table. You can also take identical tokens, but then you can take only 2 of them and only if there are four or more of them on the table.
• Book one development card. A player can take any of the face-up development cards or the top card from the deck into his hand. A player can have no more than 3 development cards in his hand. An empty place on the table is immediately filled with a new card from the corresponding deck. When booking a card, the player receives one gold token. Gold is a joker, it can be used instead of any jewel.
• Buy a development map. A player can buy a development card both reserved (in his hand) and face up on the table. By the way, buying a card is the only way to get rid of a card in your hand. You just can't drop it like that. The value of the card (how many and which jewel tokens must be given) is indicated in the lower left corner of the card.

 The game starts with the youngest player, then the turn is passed clockwise.

BONUSES FROM DEVELOPMENT CARDS

 When buying a development card, players place it in front of them on the table. In the upper left corner of the card, the bonus that this card gives is indicated. For example, if the card shows a blue sapphire, then this player is considered to have one infinite sapphire. Now, when acquiring new development cards, the player pays the cost of the card minus one sapphire. If the player has a lot of development cards, a lot of bonuses, he can get some cards literally for free.

VISIT OF NOBLEMAN

 For starters, let's say that the game continues until someone scores 15 victory points. Please note that on some development maps, prestige points are indicated in the upper left corner. Here they must be collected. Scored 15 points - won the game. Now to the nobles. If your collection of development cards is large enough, you may be visited by a nobleman. The condition of the nobleman's visit is indicated on his map. For example, 2 cards are white, 2 are red and 3 are green. If your collection meets this condition, you take a noble card, which also earns you development points.
