DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME THE QUACKS OF QUEDLINBURG

Dear, don't miss the opportunity to visit the fair in Quedlinburg to improve your health or to summon good luck! Charla..., healers from all over the country gather here every year. And, of course, each of them has a miracle remedy for you for a moderate fee. Listen, don't you want to learn how to make your own potions, huh?

A POTION STARTS WITH A SMALL DROP

So, the whirlwind of potions is ready to spin us! We go to the annual fair to showcase our art and at the same time improve our financial situation at the expense of many simpletons.

Each charlatan receives a ruby, a vial and a cauldron tablet in which we will stir our concoction. A chip with a drop is placed on the zero division of the vortex. Well, not much yet, but it's just the beginning.

Players place the starting ingredients in their bag. Recipe books of certain colors are placed on the table. They show what additional manipulations can be done with the ingredients in the potion process and their cost. Also, don't forget to put a dead rat in your bowl!

THE BEST MEDICINES

We have 9 rounds to prepare the most effective remedy for any occasion. In order to attract customers and terrify competitors, in the first round we must make a prediction that will surely come true. The first charlatan draws a card from the prediction deck and reads the description aloud. The effect affects all other players. The other healers take turns doing the same thing as the first rascal.

In the second round, we will try to make our production cheaper. While the gullible public, with their mouths agape and their heads rubbed, contemplates the wise predictions, we will inconspicuously throw rats into our cauldron to brew as many potions as possible with the minimum expenditure of components. The rat token is placed after the drop token by a number of divisions equal to the number of rats on the scale between the leaders.

The third round. Finally, it's time to brew our precious elixir. Players take turns drawing ingredient tokens from the bag and simultaneously placing them on the cauldron spiral after the drop, rat, or last token placed. The amount of the ingredient shows at what distance from the previous token a new token can be placed.

THE MOST EFFECTIVE, NOT THE MOST EXPLOSIVELY SAFE!

You can drag the ingredients as much as you want, but there is one "but". An experienced healer must understand that different ingredients have different properties. Some allow you to move faster along the spiral, while others in large quantities can be harmful (of course, if the rat tails do not bother anyone). For example, if you add too much "babah grass" to the cauldron, you risk making a very explosive mixture. As a result, not only the cauldron with its owner, but also the whole fair will fly into the air. And everything started so well...

In this case, the player's turn is stopped, he is eliminated until the end of the round, and can only put the ingredient that was taken last into his brew. The vial allows you to return the explosive ingredient to the bag, if it did not cause an explosion. Now our vessel is empty, and it's time to turn over its token.

Once everyone explodes or decides to stop, the round ends. Participants receive PO for current achievements - the value after the last displayed token. Rubies, points and money await healers. And rubies on the pipe, if there are rat tails? The rubies push the drop forward and allow the vial to be refilled. Exploded viewers choose between points and money.

The one who advanced further than everyone else rolls a bonus die. The money immediately buys new ingredients, which are immediately placed in the bag. By the way, some of them protect against the consequences of an explosion. In the next six rounds, we will go through this cycle twice and determine the best healer!
