DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME TICKET TO RIDE: EUROPE

 Ticket to Ride: Europe  is a strategic railway building board game. This edition continues the series of Train Ticket games, which take place in different parts of the world. The plot of this game transports participants to the atmosphere of capitalist Europe at the beginning of the last century.

GAME PROCESS

 At the beginning of the game, participants receive four route maps. These are long highways and short ways. Route maps show the cities between which you need to build a railway. Players choose at least two routes and start the game.

 In one turn, one of four actions is performed:

• Updating the park. In order to lay the necessary route, players must collect a certain number of car cards of the same color, which are needed to build the race. To collect the required cards, the player can take two cards from the corresponding deck in his turn.
• Race construction. The routes that the players take are made up of mapped races, which represent a section of railway between two cities. This section consists of several elements. The number and color of the elements shows how many and which wagon cards you need to collect to complete the race. When you have collected the right cards, discard them from your hand and put your chips on the line. The longer the run, the more points you get. In addition to races, there are tunnels and ferries on the map, for the passage of which special rules are provided.
• Choosing new goals. You can spend your turn choosing new routes.
• Development of the structure. During his turn, the player can place a station in any free city. To build the first station, you need one car card, the second - two, and so on. The station will allow you to outrun another player who is associated with the city in which your station is built.

GOAL OF THE GAME

• To win, you need to score the highest number of points. Points are awarded for:
• creating a race between two cities;
• passing the route (points are deducted for each unpassed route);
• each unused station;
• construction of the "European Express" - the longest continuous railway line.

ATMOSPHERE

 The developers succeeded in recreating the atmosphere of European railways at the beginning of the last century. The playing field is an original 1901 political map of Europe, and the playing cards illustrate retro wagons and locomotives that ran on European railways at that time.

• The action unfolds on the old map of Europe.
• The game has the possibility of building stations, which provide new opportunities for laying railways.
