DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME TICKET TO RIDE: AMERICA

 Ticket to Ride: America is an exciting rail adventure. Already in the year of its release, the game was awarded many awards, including "Game of the Year", "Best Board Game of the Year", "Best Board Game for the Whole Family".

WHAT IS THE GAME ABOUT?

 A real railway tycoon should always strive not only to create and strengthen his empire, but also to think about competitors. It is necessary to lay the longest and most efficient routes, not forgetting to cut off opponents from important transport hubs. The main thing is to maintain a balance between greed and moderation: long, exhausting journeys usually bring profit, but for a quick arrival at the desired destination, many are ready to seriously fork out...

 In a competition with rivals, try to connect as many cities in the USA and Canada with routes as possible. The longer the routes, the more victory points you will receive. And if you connect cities on different coasts or build the longest continuous road, you will get bonus points. The game is as simple as possible: you will need five minutes to master its rules. So, on the wagons!

GAME PROCESS

 At the beginning of the game, each player receives route maps, where two cities located at different ends of the map are marked. These tasks must be kept secret! The goal is to run a railway between the specified points. To carry out this grand plan, each turn players are dealt "train" cards of different colors and joker cards with the image of a locomotive. It is also allowed to take additional route maps and place train maps on the playing field, gaining victory points. The route can be laid to any possible length, as long as there are enough cards of the same color. Moreover, winning points are accrued for the length of the route non-linearly - there is a special score table!

 When one player's trains run out (2 or less remain), the game is over. All players open their hidden routes and count their points. If the task indicated on the route map is completed, points are added, and if it is failed, points are deducted. And, most importantly, the player who made the longest route gets an additional ten points!
