DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME ARIDNYK

 What could be more picturesque and charming, what could be more mystical and mysterious than our native Ukrainian Carpathians? Where do Hutsuls and Hutsuls get their inspiration? Where is the philosophical wisdom of mountain shepherds born? What spirits live there on the hills, among the quivering beech branches or under the gloomy pine branches off the tourist trail?

 The answers to these rhetorical questions are worth looking for - they are right next to you! This flooring is truly Ukrainian and authentic from the box to the last tile.

WHO IS THIS MAN?

 If you don't want to meet an old man, don't go to him on Lysa Gora! But we want to, and we will go, and no one will stop us! The atmospheric sketch has turned into an equally atmospheric board game, in the process of which we will not only encounter something otherworldly and get to know the famous character of the Hutsul legends - the ruler of the Polonynian spirits and the ancestor of the Carpathians, Aridnyk, but also try out interesting mechanics and learn how to graze sheep better than those who do it every day!

 Our main goal is to walk in the meadows and gather sheep. Whoever collects the largest herd will win, so don't pay attention to the little things that can get in the way, try your best - and everything will work out for you. By placing terrain tiles on the field over the course of three game rounds, seasons, you will replenish your herd. When placing a tile, its effect will be triggered. You can also get new pets if you complete tasks from cards or move your figure with special tiles marked with a white symbol.

HOW TO PLAY

 At the beginning of the game, there will be nine starting tiles on the table, in the center of which we will place the figure of Aridnyk. Three spring tiles from the corresponding stack will form the horizon, and next to it lie three face-up plans (special goals) cards and three face-up needs cards. Each player will also receive two Intention cards in their hand, along with two Spring (Early Season) tiles and place their character token on the field.

 When it's your turn to walk, place a tile from your hand on the field according to special rules (it must touch at least one tile on the table with its side and not block the flow of the river, which must be continued with the corresponding river tiles). After that, we play its property (we get a sheep, put it on the field of spirits, move them or our chips between tiles, etc.), select a new tile for our hand and pass the turn on.

 Being on tiles with spirits, we will be able to take advantage of their properties, advantageously exchange cards for sheep and vice versa, some tiles will force us to sacrifice the obtained sheep, and different symbols on will also allow us to travel around the map, move tiles from one place to another and form at the expense of this the required situation on the field. Look at the black symbol if you placed a tile or played a card, or the white one when your piece stopped the path on the tile with it. And remember: the more sheep, the closer the victory - don't waste them either!
