DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME CORTEX 2: 

 The popular board quiz Cortex got its sequel - Cortex 2, which means that 80 new cards with questions, logic, interesting tasks and of course, new tactile cards are waiting for you! All in order to conduct a battle of minds, testing the participants' memory, speed of thinking, reaction, coordination, etc. Cortex 2 can be played both as an independent game and by combining cards from both parts. It will be twice as fun and interesting.

GAME PROCESS

 Shuffle the deck of square task cards and place it face up in the center of the table. The youngest player opens the top card and… the game begins!

 Each card presents a task. The player who knows the correct answer must cover the card with his hand and say it out loud. After that, the card is revealed and the answer is checked to all participants:

• If the answer is correct, the player takes the task card as a victory point.
• If the answer is not correct, then the participant must get rid of one of the previously received cards.

 The player who collected two cards with the same shirt can exchange them for a token in the form of a quarter of the brain, and the participant who collected the entire brain becomes the winner of the quiz. It's simple, isn't it? The main thing is to answer correctly and do it faster than others.

TYPES OF TASKS

 The uniqueness and popularity of the Cortex game lies in the tasks, which are divided into 8 types, each of which is aimed at the development and operation of a certain part of the brain. The shirt on the map tells players what type of quest will now open:

• Coordination . In this type of task, the players have to correctly show the number on the fingers of one hand and at the same time say the other number out loud. Think it's simple? (smile).
• Vigilance . In such tasks, players will test their attentiveness by being the first to find someone in the picture. For example, a broken robot.
• Oral account . We're sure you're fine with this exercise, but will you be the first? Here, for example, how many squares are needed to fill the picture?
• Analytics, logic . Try to find a vertical, horizontal or diagonal line consisting of the same elements in the picture first. The answer will be their color.
• Reaction speed . Among other items, find one that stands out from the rest. Did you find it? Urgently cover the card and tell the answer!
• Spatial imagination . In these tasks, players will make combinations of objects. True, you will have to do this only with the help of imagination, and as a result, name which figure fits the main picture.
• Speed of thinking . First, find the exit from the maze and name the correct letter of the exit.
• Tactility . Tactile cards are the highlight of Cortex. If a tactile card appears at the top of the deck, the player who won in the previous round must, without turning it over, feel its face and name what is depicted on it.

 Tactile Image Options: Rusty Chain, Beetle, Parrot, Frost on Glass, Golf Ball, Lychee, Peacock Feather, Grater, Nut and Asphalt. According to the rules of the game, it is recommended to let all participants feel these cards before the start of the game. Otherwise, it will be difficult to navigate.
