DESCRIPTION OF BOARD GAME WENDAKE

 Long ago, the Huron tribes lived among the picturesque lakes of North America. They called themselves Wendat after their land called Wendak. Unlike other wigwam-dwelling Indians, they lived in long hangar-like houses. Ironically, these mighty warriors and hunters withstood many dangers, but most of them died of smallpox. Centuries later, you can relive the glory and majesty of legendary tribes.

BEFORE THE GAME

 The flourishing lands of the Wendats await you with endless fields, dense forests and blue lakes. Nearby is the area where the Indians hold their ceremonies. A casual traveler who looked in here would probably be frightened by the menacing appearance of the ceremonial masks.

 The entire field, like two mighty rivers, is framed by tracks of winning points. At the beginning of each of them there are two achievement tokens. You can excel in military affairs, ceremonial use of masks, performing rituals and trade. Next to the field, development tiles and improved actions are laid out.

 Each player receives a tribe board with 4 action counters and 9 action tiles. On one side of the tiles is the action, on the other - the ritual. Since the Indians honor the traditions of great ancestors, the central tile must necessarily be the sacred fire.

 5 women, 5 hunters and 5 warriors leave a long dwelling on the tablet. They go to the home location. After launching one canoe at a time, players receive tribe cards. If you use the cards face down, the starting resources and abilities of the tribes will be different.

GAME PROCESS

 The game lasts 7 rounds. During his turn, the player places one chip on the turn order track or on the tile of the tablet. If the first chip can be placed on any tile, the other two must form a straight line with it. Holy Fire allows you to bypass this rule and perform any action. Since the chips are not displayed simultaneously, but one by one, with each round, other tribes penetrate your plans more and more.

ACTIONS

 Tracks allow you to move soldiers and occupy territories. If a warrior finds resources, then he, according to ancient Indian custom, can claim his rights to this place. For this, it is enough to lie on your side. This is a beautiful ancient custom. You can also attack your opponent. While the victims are healing their wounds in the house, someone rolls a new canoe on the river. Hunters bring fresh beaver meat to the house, and women collect vegetables. Skins are made from beavers, and canoes are given fish.

 To perform the ceremony, the player takes a card from the mask deck. By collecting combinations of cards, players move along the corresponding track. At the end of the round, the played cards are not discarded, but sent back to the hand, which allows you to make more and more powerful combinations.

WHERE THERE ARE TURTLE, THERE ARE SKULLS

 Turtles pump trade and war tracks. Paradoxically, the more soldiers you have lying down, the further you can advance on the war track. Well, again, a very good old custom.

 In canoes, Indians not only catch fish, but also swim to exchange resources. By exchanging resources, you can purchase development tiles that give various bonuses. Dropping goods, the player moves along the trade track. Rituals allow you to treat the wounded and sick, as well as receive additional points.

END OF TURN AND GAME OVER

 At the end of the turn, the action tiles are flipped over. The bottom three tiles move down and separate from the others. One of them can be replaced with an improved one, after which these tiles are moved to the top row and placed there randomly. At the end of seven rounds, players receive points for a pair of least developed tracks and add to this value points for turtles.
