DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME OF CENTURY: SPICES ROAD 

 We are going to the Middle Ages, to an era when spices were one of the greatest values. The world rests on four keys - turmeric, saffron, cardamom and cinnamon. These spices are rapidly winning the hearts and minds of people. The demand for spices is extremely high. Traders receive more and more new orders every minute. So that the fragrant wave of spices can reach different corners of our planet, we equip a caravan, load it with spices and set off.

 The powerful of this world are bored waiting for fragrant treasures, and therefore the most clever traders will be richly rewarded. From India, East Africa and the Spice Islands, countless caravans deliver valuable cargo to the Mediterranean. The legendary Spice Road opens before us in all its glory... "Century: Spice Road" is an economic card game where participants act as spice traders.

BEGINNING OF THE PATH

 Place a deck of orders with an orange shirt in the center of the table. To get the first orders, lay out five cards from the deck, and form a line of demand. Above the extreme orders, put a reward in the form of a handful of gold and silver - two coins for each caravan owner. As mentioned earlier, the most agile will get jingle coins.

 We have hardy caravan owners, but no merchants who will profitably sell and trade our spices. Add a deck of merchants with a purple shirt to the center of the table. Lay out six cards from it and form a series of offers. Bowls with spices are arranged nearby in a clear order. First comes turmeric (yellow), then cardamom (green), then saffron (red). The most expensive spice is cinnamon (brown).

SHIPS OF THE DESERT

 Each participant receives a caravan card. The latter will be a warehouse for spices and will allow to deliver orders. The caravan map determines the sequence of moves and the starting set of players' spices.

 However, no ship of the desert can go on a voyage without a crew. We need traders. Each participant receives two starting merchant cards. With the help of one card you can get 2 spices. The second card allows you to improve 2 spices.

ON THE ROAD

 The goal of the game: to earn the maximum number of points. You can earn points in two ways - by completing an order and receiving a reward in the form of gold or silver. Our journey lasts several rounds, in each of which the player can perform one of four actions:

• get a merchant card. The more merchants you have, the more opportunities you have.
• apply the effect of a merchant card. You can get new spices, improve them, or exchange one spice for another.
• deliver the order If you have the necessary set of goods, then exchange it for the corresponding order card.
• make a stop and let the caravan rest. Played merchant cards are returned to the hand.

 If at the end of the player's turn the number of spices exceeds the number of free places in the caravan for their storage, the extra spices must be placed in the appropriate bowl.

END OF THE WAY

 When one of the players fulfills five orders, the round is finished and the counting of points begins. In addition to completed orders and coins, points are also awarded for unsold goods. The owner of the caravan with the maximum number of points becomes the winner. The road of spices led him to success and prosperity!
