DESCRIPTION OF BOARD GAME BEER & BREAD

 Two villages were founded on the fertile lands of a monastery. And there, in these villages, the inhabitants love to drink beer and eat delicious soft bread! Well, you can understand them, especially since people not only consume, but also produce!

HARVEST CARE

 Yes, what awaits us is a game of balance. It is important to follow it in everything: try to find your way and play well in the harvest year in order to survive and not burn out in the dry year, collect resources and accumulate stocks of water, wheat, barley, rye and hops, counting on two game rounds at once. It is also very important to manipulate the received cards, which can be used for harvesting, and for creating beer and bread from extracted resources, and for upgrading your village, as well as for making better products.

 So, the 1st, 3rd and 5th rounds in the game are the harvest years, while the 2nd, 4th and 6th are the dry years. Each year (game round) will be divided into the following phases:

• sowing;
• selection of cards;
• execution of actions;
• windmill phase.

 These phases will play out differently depending on which year it happened to be.

HARVEST YEAR

 At the beginning, we put all the water tokens on the river, and also fill the corresponding cells of the fields on the playing field with resources, taking into account the numbers in them. If the year is fertile, we will spend more resources than when we have to suffer due to drought. Now everyone takes 5 cards from the deck, which are different, and divide them into beer and bread, respectively. Next, choose a card from your hand, play its property (eg gain resources) and pass the rest of the cards to your opponent, who will do the same! This way, when using draft cards, you will have more actions in your arsenal than in dry years.

 Keep in mind that you'll also have to share resources with your opponent if your lineup turns out to be full. When you collect enough resources, you can use the cards differently and brew beer or bake bread according to the recipe. After spending the required amount of resources indicated on the card, place the used card in the slot of the brewery or bakery. Now, in order to apply the new recipe, you will definitely need to get rid of it. Do it by improving your production!

DROUGHT

 In this round, we won't be able to collect a lot of resources, and we won't be able to exchange cards with the opponent. All we have are the cards drawn for the harvest in the previous round and the cards from the deck that we draw up to five in our hand. Just like the previous round, we will play cards one at a time until the next round begins. And so on!

 After the last, sixth round, we will separate the separately mined beer cards and bread cards and count points for each type of product and additional coins according to the properties of the cards that were applied as improvements. Only the points that brought us the worst kind of products will be counted. That is, if we earned 20 points for beer, and 15 for bread, then all points for beer can be crossed out! Whoever has the highest and lowest score wins!
