DESCRIPTION OF BOARD GAME ORLEANS

 Orleans - a strategy game for 2-4 people, where the participants will move to the dark ages of the Middle Ages to the French city of Orleans, which became famous thanks to the feat of Joan of Arc. Managing the residents of this city, players will receive goods, build trading stations, increase the population of the city. The player under whose leadership the city will flourish the most will be the winner!

GAME PROCESS

 The main mechanic in the game Orleans is the placement of workers in different locations and the performance of appropriate actions. Workers are made in the form of round tokens and are divided by profession into types: peasant, knight, merchant, monk and others. At the beginning of the game, each player receives four starting workers: a boatman, a peasant, a merchant and an artisan. The actions to which you can assign your workers are presented on the players' personal fields.

 A large part of the actions available to the player is to get a new worker token from the supply. For example, to get a new peasant, you need to send a boatman and a craftsman to perform actions, and to get a knight - a peasant, a boatman and a merchant. All received new tokens and spent on performing actions are added to the player's bag. In the next round, the player randomly draws a certain number of workers from the bag and can assign them to new actions. Since the workers are randomly obtained, the player may have a situation where he will not be able to perform any action, since there will not be enough workers of a certain type. In this case, you can teach only those that are available, and in the following rounds add those that are absent. The resulting villagers will bring the player various types of goods (wheat, brocade, wine, and others), boatmen bring coins, artisans help reduce the number of workers needed to activate the action, scientists bring victory points, and so on.

 In each round, an event will occur, which will happen thanks to the drawn event tiles, and it will affect all players in the game. Players can lose one of their workers to the plague, pay coins to the bank for stockpiled goods, get coins from the bank for built trade buildings, and more.

END OF THE GAME

 The game Orleans lasts 18 rounds, after which players count victory points. Points are awarded for accumulated goods (for example, five points for each brocade token, and only one point for a wheat token), for coins (1 coin = 1 point), for collected residents and built trade buildings according to a special calculation formula. The player with the most victory points is the winner!
