DESCRIPTION OF  BOARD GAME NIGHT PARADE OF A HUNDRED YOKAI

 In this game, players take on the roles of powerful supernatural beings, each with their own unique abilities and strategies, as they fight for control over the islands of Japan.

GAME MECHANICS

• Asymmetric Factions: The game features four asymmetric factions, each representing its own clan of demigods from Japanese mythology. These factions have different characteristics and abilities, giving players different play styles and strategies.
• Yokai Summoning: Players summon yokai, supernatural beings, to create their nightly parade. Assembling an effective and powerful parade is the key to success. Each yokai brings its own special abilities and advantages to the game.
• Island Conquest: The objective of the game is to send your Yokai armies to conquer the various islands of Japan. Strategically competently placing your meeples on the islands, you will achieve control and influence over them.
• Building Sanctuaries: As the number of yokai on the island grows, its inhabitants begin to build sanctuaries to appease the supernatural beings. When a certain number of youkai gather on the island, the inhabitants spring into action. This dynamic results in players having to race against time to gain control of the island before the sanctuaries are built.
• Victory Conditions: The game's victory conditions are the achievement of certain objectives related to the placement of shrines. The endgame begins with the first player to have five shrines in the game. After the final round, victory points are calculated based on the hidden cards, which determine the winner.
