And they all had one common goal - to achieve the prosperity of their family, earn it a good name and glorify it for all time. After all, we are all grains of sand in the universe, and the only thing we can do to win eternity is to put our lives in the fight for the prosperity of our kind!

 You have to take on the role of the mystical patron of the family, who controls the behavior of the currently living family members, trying to earn a maximum of popularity points. And this can be done in different ways, which is another undeniable advantage of the game Village.

LIFE IS UNDER YOUR CONTROL

 At your disposal will be the first, then the second, third and even fourth generation of meeples of the same color. And you have every right to manage the life of each of them, which lasts only ten time cycles. In general, time is the most valuable resource that you have at your disposal in the game. To learn a craft, to travel, to move up the career ladder - you can pay for almost everything with the lifetime of one of your meeples.

 The playing field is full of a variety of locations: there is a forge, a mill, a market, an administration, a church, and so on and so forth. But the strangest place is definitely the cemetery. Yes, yes, the actual meeple cemeteries, with graves and tombstones. It is here that those Meeples who have already gone to a better world, who did not manage to write their name in the annals, will rest.

GAME PROCESS

 At the beginning of each round, players place a certain amount of resources in each location, taking them from a canvas bag. In his turn, the player is obliged to take a resource from any location, and can also take an appropriate action. It would seem that everything is fine, but not all resources are equally useful. Black plague cubes deprive you of life points, and believe me, sometimes you have to sacrifice someone for the sake of the prosperity of the family.

 If one of your wooden heroes goes to another world, and there is a free place in the chronicle on the corresponding terrain (there are only 5 of them: craft, council, travel, church and farm), feel free to put it there and get victory points.

 The game has a lot of nuances, a lot of possibilities, there is something to think about, but you almost with a hundred percent probability will not often look at the rules from the second game. Becoming the head of the clan and immortalizing your family in the annals - all this will take you from an hour to an hour and a half of your free time, which, let's face it, is quite fast for such a large-scale matter.

 Cards and tokens made of hard cardboard, wooden meeples and chips will help you grow more than one hundred wooden generations, and pleasant illustrations will be an excellent background for compassionate stories in which your little heroes will be participants.
