DESCRIPTION OF THE EXPANSION CATAN: CITIES AND KNIGHTS

 The development of the cities of Catan, scientific progress and new goods attract more and more people who want to visit it. Resource-rich lands, beautiful cities and happy residents have always attracted gentlemen of fortune. Now the island of Catan is suffering from attacks by cruel pirates. Having learned about such wonderful lands, pirates are approaching the island, who must be met with a full arsenal, otherwise the plunder of the cities cannot be avoided.

 You are simply obliged to protect Catan from a military invasion that brings destruction and defeat to this peaceful island!

WHAT'S INTERESTING

 "Catan: Cities and Knights" is the second of three additions that changes the game a bit and makes it much more difficult, as well as more interesting - and you will understand this as soon as you start playing it. "Cities and Knights" has slightly changed rules, but don't worry, you will easily get used to them after a few games. Goods have now appeared in the game, you can engage in development in cities, which will allow you to declare the city the capital, building a wall will make your city an impregnable fortress, and knights will now guard your possessions and protect the island from pirate invasions.

WAR AT SEA

 Pirates. They are the ones who changed some aspects of the gameplay: now, by rolling the dice, you can calculate the influence of pirates on the land, and for defeating them, you can get extra points! Knights have become the highlight of this addition - the main task is to restrain the pirate attack on the island, for this, throughout the game, the knights will need to be developed and glorified. In addition to global tasks, the knight can also receive from you those that will help to give a blow to competitors on the island.

 Note: To play with the add-on "CATAN: The Board Game - Cities and Knights" you need the base game box "CATAN: The Board Game". This add-on is compatible with the rest of the add-ons for The Colonizers.
