DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME HYPERBOREA

The game takes the participants to the mythical Hyperborea and offers to lead the opposing kingdoms there. The main weapon in this fight will be mysterious magical cubic crystals of different colors.

BAGBUILDING AND AREA CONTROL

The game mechanics are a super-strong alloy of territory control and bag building. All your actions - hiring new soldiers, attacking, moving, buying technology cards, etc. - depend on pulling colorful cubes from the bag and distributing them to the zones of the tablet. The key to victory is the optimization of the contents of the bags. Players will pump tracks and receive additional multi-colored cubes in the bag. Purchased technology cards allow you to get new dice slots and, therefore, more interesting possibilities.

LOCATION HEXES

Terrain hexes have interesting features. The type of terrain affects movement points, for example, to enter the forest - you need to spend one more movement, you will also have to pay a fine for leaving the swamp, and in the mountains you will have to pay for both entry and exit. The hexes have ghosts to kill, and there are towns that give bonuses (unfortunately, after visiting a town, you'll have to leave your units there until the next reload until the bag is empty). The value of controlling hexes varies - the central hex gives the most points at the end of the game, the hexes around it give less, and each player's home hexes only give 1 point each.
