DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME THE WITCHER: PATH OF DESTINY

 In the world of The Witcher, every day is a new choice between good and evil, and, as you know, every choice has consequences. Are you ready for them? Today we will rewrite the famous saga anew and adjust the adventures of our favorite characters: Geralt, Ciri, Yennefer, Dandelion and Vesemir. The deluxe edition of the card board game The Witcher: The Path of Destiny offers you to become a part of this epic story, which was once invented by Andrzej Sapkowski, and later turned into a board game by another talented Pole, Lukasz Wozniak.

 As part of a band of daredevils, you will travel through bizarre paths, beating all sorts of disgusting scum, studying magic and trying to defeat enemies with skills, tricks, flattery and caresses - who is capable of anything! The main intrigue is that despite the common goals, only one of you will become a hero who will be remembered by legends. Do you think Dandelion will sing about you in the finale?

GAME PROCESS

 Before the game begins, each player chooses a character, receives their unique set of cards and a figurine, and then, together with the others, embarks on an exciting adventure divided into three chapters ("Striga", "Lesser Evil", and "The Edge of the World"). Each chapter consists of story cards that offer you plot objectives that affect the development of the game. It all starts with an introduction card, which explains the situation and gives the first objective.

 While the structure of the game may vary depending on the story you are playing, the most common way to play is as follows: draw cards, play cards, place a destination token. Players take turns deciding how to act using the cards in their hand and place them on their timeline row. These cards can bring symbols that can be useful in achieving goals, activating special effects. Sometimes the smallest step can change the course of the story!

 At the end of each turn, it becomes clear which path the players have chosen to follow - whether they followed the light or dark signpost. These choices determine the main symbol for which you will receive points at the end of the chapter. Also, in each chapter, players have the opportunity to activate special abilities of their heroes. For example, Dandelion can change the rules of the game with her tricks, and Ciri can use the magic of the Elder Blood to obtain additional cards.

 Each chapter concludes with a victory point tally - get ready for the next one! Just don't miss your chance to become the main character! The epilogue will sum up all your choices and determine who is the best and who will go into oblivion.
