QUARTERS AND TYPES OF BUILDINGS

 In the game Suburbia , four types of buildings are distinguished: residential blocks; cultural buildings; infrastructure buildings and commercial. Each type is represented by a hexagon of the corresponding color: green, gray, yellow and blue. Your strategy depends on the appearance of the city area, population density and replenishment of the treasury.

GROWTH AND DECLINE

 The game has two parameters: population growth and a financial indicator - the level of income to the treasury. These two indicators affect the number of inhabitants in your district and its treasury. As the population grows, maintenance costs increase, so the level of receipts to the treasury will constantly decrease. The same happens with the population. The larger the population, the more attention must be paid to cultural development and infrastructure, which have a positive effect on the population growth rate, otherwise the population growth will fall.

IMPACT OF BUILDINGS ON YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD AND CITY

 The simplest type of quarters is residential. Most often, it simply increases the population in the area. Cultural buildings affect attractiveness - the rate of population growth is increasing. But sometimes you have to maintain these buildings at the expense of your treasury - this causes a decrease in the level of income. Infrastructure objects - airport, sewage treatment plants, power plants, highways, etc. preferably located away from residential areas. Infrastructure brings money to the coffers, but adversely affects some types of nearby neighborhoods. And finally, commerce. The purpose of these buildings is to fill your treasury with money. Build entire commercial districts to use building bonuses and raise your income level. Remember, you are only building an area of the city. Your rivals are engaged in a similar task. There are some buildings that take into account the indicators of the entire city (all districts under construction).
