DESCRIPTION OF AEON'S END BOARD GAME: SECOND EDITION

 Terrible creatures called Nameless come into the world through mysterious faults. The last stronghold of mankind is the city of Gravehold. Here live magicians who fight monsters with spells. Remembering the old saying that a wedge is called a wedge, magicians have learned to use faults to charge their spells. Now the fate of the world depends entirely on their skills.

THE END OF THE ERA AND INFINITE MAGIC

 The world of magic always promises us something unusual. Therefore, the game uses glossy cards. Perhaps this is how the author wanted to show the amazing glow of faults that illuminates everything around. In the second edition of the game, the art on the cards was increased. Heroes of the universe, enemies and objects, as if they became closer. Just reach out. Colors added in brightness, the font matured. It should be remembered that any sorcery requires careful treatment. Therefore, the cards have a convenient compartment with separators and foam inserts. Monster tablets have not changed.

GREAT AND TERRIBLE

 In each game, the heroes are confronted by one of four bosses who must be destroyed before he destroys the city and kills all the wizards. Each boss is endowed with a unique appearance and tactics of combat. One takes the number of associates, and the other prefers to do all the work yourself. To win, you must deplete the deck and allies of the boss, or deprive him of the specified number of health points, using spells.

OTHER MIRACLES

 Aeon's End is interesting not only for its design, but also for the mechanics. As in many other games, there are the usual activities and the market, where you can buy cards for precious stones, but all this is realized in a magical way.

 Each player receives a tablet of the hero with health points and special skills, as well as a deck of cards. The first innovation is that the deck is never shuffled. Whatever you do, the spell is a delicate matter. A card purchased over the market is sent for reset together with the cards spent on its purchase. When the deck is over, you simply flip the shirt up without shuffling and continue the game. This allows you to count the decks and decide in which order the cards will come in handy. Such a decision reduces randomness and adds strategy to the moves.

 The second innovation is related to action planning. Above the tablet are four breakthrough tiles, of which only one was initially opened. Before playing the card, it must be placed on an open hole to charge, and the next move to cast a deadly spell on the enemy. Precious stones will help to open new gaps that allow you to use even more spells at once.
