BOARD GAME DESCRIPTION CODENAMES: PICTURES

 Passwords and appearances, agents and spies - all this is familiar to us from the game Code Names - the best party game of 2016. Words are a thing of the past - today images are relevant: groups of agents are encrypted with ambiguous pictures, among which you have to find your group. If you have already played Code Names, then the version with pictures will not be something new for you.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE GAMES IN THE SERIES?

 As the name suggests, the words on the cards are replaced by images. The images are made in a humorous form and can be interpreted differently by players. The number of cards in the initial layout has decreased: 5 by 4, instead of the usual 5 by 5 square. Everything else has remained unchanged, except for the new version of the rules with the Spy (black agent).

 By the way, this version of the game can also be used in Codenames with words. The essence of the Spy version of the game is that after the team has revealed all its agents, it is the Spy's turn. The team that guesses the Spy card after revealing all its agents wins.

ALL THE SAME CODE NAMES

 If you are familiar with the rules of the game Codenames, you can skip this paragraph. Codenames is a team game that requires interaction between the captain and other team members to win. So,  you will have to divide into two teams and choose captains. The captains lay out cards with pictures in the center of the 5 by 4 table and receive a key card. The key card contains information about agents, neutral people and a spy. The captains' task, by reporting the encryption to their team, is to help them determine the location of their agents. The encryption consists of a word and a number. The word connects several pictures, and the number determines the number of such pictures.

SPY JOKE

 Since the team's task is to reveal their agents as quickly as possible, the captain has a difficult task: to connect as many images as possible with each other. The task is not easy, but if the team solves the logic of the encryption, it will bring it much closer to victory. It is worth remembering the riddles and variants of past moves, because if you fail the previous move, you have a chance in the new one. Follow the encryptions of your opponents and discard images that are clearly not related to your agents. These are just some of the tips that will help your team achieve victory. If you have Codenames with words in your collection, no one will stop you from making a mix and playing this option.
