WHAT'S NEW

 Buttons and Insects follows the events of Gloomhaven and the expansion Gloomhaven: Forgotten Circles. Ultimately, it's a standalone single-player tactical adventure game that puts you in the role of a mercenary and takes you through a series of interconnected scenarios.

 It may seem that this box itself is smaller compared to the original game, but everything here is real: ability cards, state tokens, an attack modifier tablet, character figures and cards, enemies with their own movement and attack patterns - everything fits into the lore and mechanics set by the base game.

 Choose from six different characters - and your hero is sure to be among them! Build a deck of abilities, set up counters and go into the first scenario of twenty-two. Enemies act like a swarm - fast, coordinated and insidious. To win, you will have to learn to use your cards with the highest efficiency: combine movement, attacks, jumps and effects in such a way as to survive the wave of opponents and complete the goal.

 As mentioned, the game is built on the same system as Dark Haven: each round you choose two ability cards, determine initiative, and perform actions—attack, move, etc. But here everything is more dynamic. Thanks to the small format, you can get the game going in just a few minutes and complete the scenario whenever you have time.
