DESCRIPTION OF THE BOARD GAME RESISTANCE: AVALON - NEW VERSION

 For years, the knights of the round table are forced to compete with fans of the fairies Morgana and Mordred. Resist their influence and bring peace to the land of England. And to eradicate the dark side from within, King Arthur sent his right hand, the magician Merlin, to learn all the secrets of Morgana and her people.

 Resistance: Avalon (Resistance: Avalon) is a version of the board game Resistance with a changed theme, additional rules and the possibility of role-playing games.

 Compared to the base game in Resistance: Avalon added more than the Mafia - players for the dark side (bad guys Mordred, the son of the fairy Morgana) know each other in person - open their eyes on the first "night". Otherwise, the gameplay remains similar. The game has five rounds, each of which is one mission. By joint efforts, participants decide who is going on a quest. Selected players secretly discard cards with the words Success or Failure, and according to the results perform tasks or not.

 The Knights of King Arthur will win at the completion of three of the five missions successfully. If three of the five quests have failed, the victory goes to the fans of Mordred and the fairy Morgana.

 However, in the game Resistance: Avalon there is one addition that can change the whole result of the missions: the role of Merlin and the assassin. Merlin in the game - Arthur's secret ally, he simultaneously with the followers of Morgana opens his eyes and knows them in the face. But he needs to play so as not to stand in front of them and the assassin. At the moment when the third mission is closed by the victory of the Knights of the Round Table, the killer can try to guess which of the players is Merlin. With a successful guess, he "kills" the main supporter of Arthur and brings victory to the dark side.

 In addition, Resistance: Avalon adds roles for other players. They seriously complicate the gameplay and are suitable for more experienced participants. You can also play with them in any combination you choose. For example, the role of the knight of Persephone is to divert the suspicions of the murderer from Merlin, because Persifal is the only one who knows exactly which of the participants is a great magician. And Morgan's fairy tries to seduce a worthy knight from his path - before the game, the player for Persifal is shown two characters: Morgan and Merlin. You have to show all your deductive abilities to guess which one is which. And that's not all the roles!

 And in general Resistance: Avalon is really not a conversational, but a deductive game. Players have access to information about the results of missions, who went to them, who proposed and supported which candidates. With the help of this data you will have to find out for yourself which of the players is your enemy and which is your fan.
