 Somewhere where the foot of a man from Northgard has never set foot, beyond the distant seas, beyond the great forests, beyond the high mountains lie fabulous unexplored lands. They say that there is no lord there, and any brave clan leader can become them. Is it really so? Who knows, but you decide whether you can become the brave man who will find the best place for his people on these diverse and rich shores.

 The French real-time strategy video game "Northgard" once made a lot of hype. Now the clans of this world have found a new way to celebrate their own prowess by moving to the tabletop universe, and are delighting fans with popular deck building and territory control mechanics.

THE VIKINGS WENT FOR ADVENTURES

 What are you willing to do for your clan? Ready to play for years and years?.. Feeling a certain tension? Of course, we are kidding, a game of tabletop Northguard will last much less, and a year in this game is called a round, each of which will consist of 5 phases:

• We start the year. In this phase you need to take 4 cards from your deck. First, we will take cards from the development deck, when the third year comes - cards of advanced development, and for the seventh year, take achievement cards instead of development cards.
• Now we perform the actions in turn until each of the players says "pass". What action to perform? Only your own choice will work here, choose wisely! You can play cards from your hand, applying their effects, wait, i.e. still place a card in the active zone, but not apply the effect, remove cards to improve your deck, i.e. return the extra ones to the box, replace cards in your hand with cards from your deck, improve cards by replacing them with special improvement cards and finally pass. After saying "pass", you no longer perform actions in this phase and wait for the next one.
• We are harvesting . This generous phase will shower players with many valuable things: here we will get glory points for closed territories, collect resources from controlled locations and be able to exchange our own resources for resources from the general supply.
• We think about hibernation , that is, we spend resources to hibernate (this parameter depends on the number of our soldiers on the playing field, which must be checked with the table). If there aren't enough resources to feed everyone, clutter cards with no effect will sneak into our deck, preventing us from playing effectively. In addition to all your troubles, these cards will also rob you of some glory points.
• At the end of the year, we check whether the endgame conditions worked. If any player controls at least three enclosed areas with at least one large structure, the game ends immediately. It will also end immediately after the seventh year - then it will really be time to determine the final winner.

THIS INTERESTING WORLD

 However, the tabletop Northgard is not the only deck that lives. The actions you can perform by applying card effects will allow you to hire soldiers, place them on the map, move them around locations, build useful structures there by spending resources, and explore new territories by adding new tiles to the map. Some cards are unique and their effects will make your adventures even more interesting!

 Is it difficult for you to imagine a Viking just quietly and peacefully developing his tribe? Well, you won't see such a thing here - fight! As soon as the warriors of two different players are on the same territory, they will beat each other until one of them wins. The outcome of the battle will be affected by the number of your soldiers on the corresponding cell of the map, the bonus from the effect of moving or the building located in this location, the amount of dropped food, or even the whims of fate - i.e. dice rolls.
